Save the Date: Professional Governance Act Webinar, August 6

Posted on July 8, 2020

The implementation of the Professional Governance Act in November 2020 represents a shift in how the professions of engineering and geoscience are regulated, and will introduce new obligations and requirements for professional engineers and geoscientists.

Join us on Thursday, August 6 at 11:00 AM to hear an update on the status of the Professional Governance Act, including information on the Code of Ethics, the requirements of the Continuing Education Program, annual information reporting, and other changes that will come into effect in November 2020.

Transitioning from the almost 100-year-old Engineers and Geoscientists Act can raise questions and concerns; registrants will have an opportunity to have their questions on this important topic answered by President Lianna Mah, P.Eng., FEC.

Registration for this free webinar is now open and all registrants will be invited by email to submit their questions about this topic in advance.

The webinar will also be recorded and made available later in August in the Online Learning Centre.
